Field of Flowers ~ You Are Always in My Heart Card

Happy Thursday lovely people.

Today I have another card made using BRAND NEW pre-order product.

I am on a mission to use all my new product and get it inked!

I know you can probably all relate…we buy new things and then get too scared to use them and they sit un-inked for way too long on our shelves? Relate?

Well I’m getting in there and playing with all my new product and having so much fun!!

Today’s card features quite a few brand new products including the Field of Flowers Bundle and the beautiful In Good Taste Designer Series Paper.

I have also used the Flowers for Every Season Ribbon Combo Pack and the stunning Forever Gold Laser Cut Pieces.

I chose to stamp the flowers from the Field of Flowers Stamp in Mango Melody, Melon Mambo and Granny Apple Green on a rectangle that I have die cut with the Stitched Rectangle Dies. This formed the basis of my card. I then used some of the stunning In Good Taste DSP which I have cut to 1.5″ on a layer of Whisper White, matted with some Basic Black Cardstock. I have then used Melon Mambo as my card base.

Here’s a close up of the finished card where you can see the accents and embellishments I have chosen.

I used the stunning Flowers for Every Season White Ribbon. I love this ribbon, it’s so soft and easy to tie into bows or knots. I chose to change it up for this card, and instead of my usual bow, I tied a simple knot!

I have then added some laser die cuts from the Gold Laser Cut Speciality Paper. These are addictive, and I can see myself using lots of these!

I then punched lots of little flowers using the coordinating punch from the Field of Flowers Bundle in Melon mambo and have adhered these to my card and added a Basic Rhinestone to the centres.

The sentiment is stamped from the Field of Flowers Stamp Set and heat embossed in white on Basic Black Cardstock. I have then fussy cut this out. I have popped up the ‘Always’ with some Black Stampin’ Dimensionals.

Of course I also added some Wink of Stella splattering *wink*

Wouldn’t be a ‘Kayla’ card without it.

Here’s a look at the decorated inside of the card where I have added layers of Basic Black and Whisper White and another strip of the In Good Taste DSP with some simple stamping from the Field of Flowers Stamp Set. I also added another cute little punched flower and rhinestone.
