Follow Your Art ~ Picnic/Goodie Basket

Hello crafty peeps.

Today I have something a bit different to share with you…an ultimate gift/goodie bag for the crafter!

This was inspired after I saw a sample similar in the catalogue and just wanted to give it a go and change it up, making it my own.
I have used a tonne of retiring product in today’s post also, so be sure to scroll to the bottom to see links to all the product I have used, as some of it is heavily discounted in my store.

All this basket consists of is getting one of the gorgeous Mini Shipping Boxes, those things are seriously gorgeous and I am so glad that they are staying around!

I have cut a piece of Follow Your Art Designer Series Paper and cut it just to fit the edges of the box. I think I had to add a little bit more than the 12″, so I just added my ‘filler’ piece towards the back. I have just used some Liquid Multipurpose Glue to adhere it down.

Then you just take some ribbon/trim of your choice. In this case I have used the Braided Burlap Ribbon and some Metallic Brads to make the handle. I just used my Take Your Pick Tool to ‘poke’ the holes through.

The fun part was filling it up!!!
I want to use this for a special something/someone so I have filled it with some gorgeous products!

I have then used the So Sentimental Bundle (this is staying…YAY!) to make this adorable tag for my little gift box. I have just simply sponged some Calypso Coral Ink on there and added some Glitter Enamel Dots and some embellies from the Follow Your Art Embellishment Kit.

I just love it embossed in black and I have to say I am going to miss black embossing powder so much! Make sure if you love something that is retiring, to get it now!!!

I have then lastly added some ribbon to the top of my gift bag and used the included Pacific Point Thread included in the kit and the Gray Granite Textured Weave Ribbon.

I hope you enjoyed a look at today’s project share, which was a little something different and out of the usual share from me!
