Stampin’ Up! Flowers For Every Season + A Grand Kid ~ GDP #243

Happy Monday everyone! Happy June!

Who can believe we are half way through the year already?

I have something that I am over the moon excited to share with you today!

I have some exciting news!!! I am now part of the Global Design Project Design Team.

I was thrilled to have been asked and can’t wait to share with you my creations each and every week!

What is the Global Design Project?

It is a monthly challenge blog with different challenges such as theme challenges, colour challenges, sketches, CASE’ing challenges and more!

This week’s challenge was a theme challenge.

The week’s theme is floral! I was so excited by this challenge as we have just got some new Designer Series Paper in the Flowers for Every Season collection that is full of beautiful florals!

This card I went to town with fussy cutting. I know that this is one of those techniques that you either love or hate..but I find it so therapeutic and relaxing!

I fussy cut out a heap of flowers from one of the paper patterns and then used the Press’ N’ Seal technique to create a fun card using a combination of the Flowers For Every Season DSP and the A Grand Kid Cling Stamp for this super fun and witty sentiment which I have heat embossed in white.

Here’s a close up of my finished card where you can see some of the details.

I have added some of the gorgeous Magenta Madness In Colour Ribbon which I have tied in a bow and added with a Mini Glue Dot.

I then added an additional fussy cut flower from the DSP and accented the die cut circle from the centre with one of the beautiful Gold Hoop Embellishments. I just adhered this with Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

To finish I have added some In Colour 2020-2022 Enamel Dots and some Clear Wink of Stella.

Here’s a look at the decorated inside of the card where I have added layers of Whisper White and Basic Black with a strip of the Flowers for Every Season DSP, a fussy cut flower and another sentiment from the A Grand Kid Stamp Set.

I love that witty sentiment!
