Today I have a brand new card to share with you that I featured on one of my Facebook Lives that I streamed on my Facebook page this month. Sorry it has taken me a little bit to get this one up on my blog, but it’s here as promised!
I just fell in love with this Heart to Heart bundle from the new Mini Catalogue from Stampin’ Up! and the main reason was this gorgeous heart background die. It’s just so much fun to play with!
On this sample I totally CASE’d the catalogue and had fun playing with the super fabulous Fluid 100 Watercolour paper with that fun die!
I hope this post inspires you to create some lovey dovey cards (they don’t just have to be Valentines) and be sure to check below for the Facebook Live recording of me making this card so you can see just how it came together.
Be sure to contact me if you would like one of these gorgeous new catalogues, orcheck out my store where you can purchase all these products.
Here’s a look at the finished card in all it’s glory. You will be able to see all the steps on the video below. I have used the Fluid 100 Watercolour paper to cut out the die and I have then coloured it with a variety of ink colours including; Mango Melody, Lovely Lipstick and Flirty Flamingo.
I set this aside to dry while I pieced together the remainder of the card.
I have stamped a Sahara Sand layer with the heart images from the coordinating stamp set as one of my base layers. I have then added a Stitched Rectangle in Whisper White Thick which I have adhered with Stampin’ Dimensionals for some extra dimension.
Here you can see the process video of me putting this all together. Be sure to go and like and subscribe to my YouTube channel for future videos and YouTube lives.
Here you can see a close up of the finished project and all the different elements and textures.
I used some of the Gold Glimmer paper to cut an additional hearts background out, to get these gold glimmer hearts, which I have then pieced back into the die in some areas.
I used the Scalloped Heart punch to add a heart with Vellum Cardstock.
I also added a small strip of the Best Dressed 6×6 Designer Paper, with a strip of Flirty Flamingo cardstock with the sentiment stamped in Lovely Lipstick.
To embellish I added a Best Dressed Tassel, some Noble Peacock Rhinestones and some Crinkled White Seam binding ribbon tied in a bow.
Here you can see how I have decorated the inside of the card where I have added a few more of the stamped images in Granny Apple Green and Lovely Lipstick.
I hope you enjoyed this look at a card that I have made today and got some inspiration to go and create some LOVEly cards, with another amazing bundle from Stampin’ Up!
Thanks so much for reading my little blog today, and as always have a lovely week and…
CRAFTY HUGS! xx
