I have been getting myself prepared to travel to Brisbane in the coming weeks for the annual Stampin’ Up! Onstage conference where I will meet with other demonstrators, have fun, see new product, demonstrations and get a copy of the new Annual Catalogue. I can’t wait!
One of the perks of going to Onstage is that we all love to swap and share. It’s a lot of fun to make multiple cards, swap with others and see all the beautiful styles, art and ideas using Stampin’ Up! product from others.
There are a few things I have learned over the years of making swaps and multiple cards that make the process a little bit easier. I decided to jump on this week and share some of my process of making sixty cards over the course of a day. I am giving you a sneak peek of my project and sharing my process with you.
Here’s a look at my project for this week – scroll down to download the PDF
the finished thankful garden card

Here is a look at the finished card. I kept it very simple – in fact there is really only one layer which is all it needed and also a good idea when making multiple cards! Design something that doesn’t need to many layers and pieces. Try to have an impact/statement piece that takes away the need for all the layers.
On my design I made this beautiful flower the masterpiece and this new bundle comes with layering masks that makes colouring easy! You can see the easy way I have lined up and coloured the flowers in the video.
a close up look & a look at the multiple cards made!

Here is a close up of the finished card and all that texture. The new Mini Corrugated 3D Embossing Folder is a must have. Check out all that texture and dimension!
I heat embossed all the sentiments which was easy to do for these multiple cards when working with a long strip of card and embossing them all at once. Doing this means you can place it in your paper trimmer and trim them down all in one long strip.
I hope that you enjoyed seeing this project. Be sure to check out all the resources including PDF and the video tutorial below. I would love to see what you make! Be sure to jump over & join my FREE VIP group to share with me what you have been making. xx
