Ornate Garden ~ You’re Amazing Card ~ International Highlights Winners Blog Hop

Hello and welcome back to my little blog.

I am really excited to be popping on today to share a fun card that I made with the ever so gorgeous Ornate Garden suite of products that are brand new to Stampin’ Up! and that you can get too!! Read the bottom of the post to find out how.

Today I wanted to share my love of these new products and that PAPER!! It’s stunning!

I hope you enjoy, and be sure to scroll to the bottom to see a list of all the products I have used in today’s project, all of which you can buy in my store here.

To achieve this card I have followed these basic steps:

• Cut a card base from Crumb Cake Cardstock to a top folding card. 
• Cut a layer of Basic Black Cardstock to 9.9cm x 14.3cm. Set aside.
• Cut a piece of Ornate Garden Specialty Designer Series Paper to 9.7cm x 14.1cm. Adhere this to your layer of Basic Black Cardstock and adhere both layers to the card with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
• From a scrap of Gold Glimmer Paper, cut the largest scalloped circle from the Layering Circles Dies. Also cut the largest stitched circle from the Stitched Shapes Dies out of Thick Whisper White Cardstock. Adhere these together with Glue Dots and then adhere to the card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
• Stamp two daisies with Staz On Black Ink onto some Fluid 100 Watercolour paper and colour with a mixture of; Granny Apple Green, Mango Melody, Poppy Parade, Terracotta Tile, Daffodil Delight inks with an Aqua Painter. Allow to dry and then fussy cut these out. Adhere them to the middle of your stitched circle with Glue Dots.
• On a scrap of Basic Black cardstock, stamp out the sentiment  ‘You’re amazing’ from the Ornate Thanks stamp set in Versamark and heat emboss in white. Punch this out with the Classic Label Punch. Set aside.
• Tie a bow with the Old Olive ribbon from the Ornate Garden ribbon pack and adhere where shown with a Glue Dot. Now adhere the punched sentiment over the top with Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals.
• Add some spritzes on Wink of Stella to the card if you wish. I have also added Wink of Stella to the daisies.
• Add some Gilded Gems. I have added three.
• Decorate the inside layers of the card if you wish to. I have used another watercolored daisy and also stamped out a couple of the sentiments from the Ornate Thanks stamp set in a mixture of Mango Melody and Memento Black inks. I have also added a strip of the Ornate Garden Speciality DSP.
• Enjoy!

The ribbon is to die for…and ties the most gorgeous bows!!!

Here’s a look at the decorated inside of my card where I have added some additional details and stamping to make the inside pretty too!

I have been a little bit obsessed with adding my stamping down the bottom of the card lately, rather than in the middle! I am loving the look of it!
