I had a great time on Saturday night over on my Facebook page sharing how to make a panoramic fold out card and shared my version using the new and upcoming Thoughtful Journey Suite which will be available at the beginning of May. I shared a sneak peek in the video of another version of this card made using the Stampin’ Up! Meandering Meadows Suite which is one of the Online Exclusives available in my store. I just loved that this gorgeous suite features a similar style of scenic Designer Series Paper that is perfect for these panorama style cards!

This is a look at the finished panoramic fold out design. What I love most about this fun design is that you would not know it has a panoramic style until you fold out the card! it’s a bit of a surprise. I took a bright and bold colour palette as my inspiration for my design and went for bright pops of blue, green, pink and purple with some beautiful Pecan Pie and greys.

Here is a look at some of the details on my card. I chose to use some of the beautiful texture from the Basics 3D Embossing Folders for that little bit of texture on the Balmy Blue panels.
Using the Pecan Pie Centre Stripe Ribbon I added some extra texture by fraying the ribbon (keeping some of those Pecan Pie threads in there) and have used this behind my focal images.
I want to share just a couple of the beautiful ‘scenes’ that are available in the Meandering Meadows Designer Series Paper which comes in a 6×6″ paper pad and why it’s amazing for these panoramic fold out card designs. You can find this paper pad in my store here.

Here is the magic of the panorama design! Isn’t it beautiful? It would look beautiful displayed on a mantle folded out to show the full panoramic fold out design – it’s like a piece of art! Even better the writing and message are all tucked away.
It’s a really simple design to make too – scroll down to the bottom to see the PDF instructions.
a hidden pocket for all your messages & greetings…
I love that by adding a simple pocket on the right hand side you have a room to write and it’s all tucked away and hidden. It also makes this fun design interactive! It’s really simple to do with a simple layer of cardstock and some Tear N’ Tape. With a little die cut pull tab from the new Unbounded Love Dies coming in May I created a little tab to pull out the gorgeous message piece.
