Peaceful Poppies & Bird Ballad ~ Thank You Card

Hi guys and welcome back to my little blog.

Today I am really excited to be sharing a card with you that I made this week and shared live on my Facebook page today. Be sure to check below for the video recording.

I will admit this card came about because I was sitting at my craft desk and playing with the Peaceful Poppies elements and having the time of my life watercoloring and having fun making up all kinds of colour combinations + I may have been slightly challenging myself to use Very Vanilla in a colour combo..I’m a white kinda girl!

This card came about just because I was on a mission to try different colours, have some relaxing time watercolouring and challenging myself to use some vanilla,

I just loved combining this set with the stamps from the Bird Ballad Stamp Set for a cute little thank you/friendship card & I need plenty of those with all the amazing friends I have in my life!

I was keen to get the gold happening so I combined some Gold Glimmer hearts, a Glimmer strip and some Gold heat embossing for a bit of sparkle.

I have used heaps of the Peaceful Poppies Elements on this card with some of the Watercolour poppies, leaves and also some of the Basic Black embossed elements and even a vellum piece for the inside of the card.

Those elements are such good value with so many pieces inside!

Here’s a close up of the finished card where you can see the fun texture that those watercolour pieces add! Teamed with a fun thank you sentiment and touches of gold, I was in love.

Be sure to check out the video, as I did make this card in a different colour combo! You will have to let me know which one you like best!

I just had to decorate the inside of the card and I used one of the vellum pieces, which I showed how to colour in my video. I also used another sentiment from the Bird Ballad stamp set. I just love the font in that stamp set.
