This month for the Stampin’ Fancy Friday challenge the team all made projects featuring some kind of plaid. Are you a plaid fan? There are so many possibilities for creating with plaid and you can use plaid for so many themes and styles!

For my card that I made for this month’s challenge I had fun with a few different techniques including making ink blended stripes with Stampin’ Up! Masking Paper using a emboss resist technique and also some fun Stampin’ Blends colouring using the More Than Autumn Bundle.

Here is a look at my finished card. I had fun playing with a bright and bold colour combo for this card with a mixture of; Pumpkin Pie, Berry Burst, Summer Splash and Pool Party.

This is one of my favourite go to layouts when making a card by dividing the card into two to combine different patterns, textures or colours. I then placed my focal images across the middle to join the two panels together.

Here is a close up look at the finished card which shows some of the details on the card including the sentiment which I have cut using the dies from the More Than Autumn bundle. I made these dimensional by die cutting the title in Foam Adhesive topped with Basic White Thick cardstock which I have made with an ombre style by adding some light and dark Summer Splash Stampin’ Blends to the bottom half.

For a quick and simple inside to the card I have added some light Summer Splash blending to the right hand bottom of the card and some additional stamped elements with a sentiment stamped in Berry Burst.

I had a lot of fun making this plaid card for the Stampin’ Fancy Friday challenge this month and combining a few of my favourite colours and products.
