This is my last weekly live class for 2024 – how crazy is that?
It feels like the beginning of the year was only yesterday and my effort and idea of doing these weekly live classes was born. I must say – I am rather proud of myself for sticking to it and getting to 46 weeks of PDF’s and live videos for you all. It wasn’t a bad effort. Have you seen the previous weeks? To round out a fun year, I have put together a fun project this week featuring my favourite fun fold theme and made a Gatefold Double Pop Up Card.
Just to note: I have no idea if that is the official name for this card – but I am going with it. This week’s project also uses some fun up & coming product from the new Mini Catalogue & Sale-a-Bration!

Here is a look at the finished card. This design features a belly band but as always you could omit the belly band and choose to decorate the front flaps or even add a circle or basic shape to the front (only adhered on one side). I must admit that I do love a good belly band!

I had fun using these fun eclectic and whimsical colours that go along with the Toadstool Gardens Designer Series Paper and went all out with the girly colours!

Here is an up close look at the card front and the belly band which I have used a favourite of mine…the Spotlight on Nature dies to create a ‘grounding’ piece for my focal elements on the belly band.

I loved created the fun & bright toadstools with quite a mixture of colours from reds/oranges to purples! The stalks are stamped in a mixture of different greys and light browns.

Here is a the selling point of this card. The gatefold double pop up design opens to reveal these two fun pop up elements that feature some fun elements from the Terrific Toadstool bundle. I also used some gorgeous flowers made with the Petal Park Punch and the Toadstool Gardens Designer Series Paper. These were finished with some of the pretty Purple Adhesive Backed Sequins.
Both the paper and the sequins are Sale-a-Bration products that will be available in January & February for free with a qualifying purchase.

Here is a final close up look at the card which shows the beautiful colours and dimension on the inside of the card as well as the panel I have added to the back of the card with room to write a greeting or message. I kept to some simple stamping with the Terrific Toadstools stamp set to embellish the card back and embellished with some gorgeous Brushed Brass Butterflies.
