Hello lovelies. Happy Tuesday!
Today I am participating in Kylie Bertucci’s International Blog Highlights.
I love joining in on this fabulous hop every month because I get to participate with amazing talented crafters from all over the world!
This month the theme is ‘thanks’ and I couldn’t think of anything better to use than the fabulous COVID-19 Product Giveback PDF.
This is a fabulous PDF that Stampin’ Up! have released to raise money for the COVID-19 relief efforts worldwide and is full of such fabulous and versatile sentiments for your cardmaking during this time, and let’s face it…we all could do with some sunshine #sharesunshine
All the products used in today’s blog post have been linked at the bottom of this post, all of which are available in my store here.
Here’s a look at the completed card.
Much like yesterday’s post, I have been endeavouring to #loveitchopit with my DSP (Designer Series Paper) since all the current fabulous designs will be retiring on June 2nd to make way for some beautiful new ones.
These are gorgeous papers and this particular pattern is one of my clear favourites! I just love it!
I have used the ‘Sending Love & Paper Hugs’ sentiment from the PDF and cut this with the Stitched So Sweetly dies. These just create the cutest little stitched frames.
I have then accented the bottom left and top right of this frame with some dies from the In The Tropics Dies cut from a mixture of Whisper White, Granny Apple Green and Gold Glimmer.
I have then accented the middle of the flowers with the Glitter Enamel Dots. These are also retiring, so if these are something you love…be quick!
I have also added some of my favourite ribbon, the Polka Dot Whisper White Tulle Ribbon.
Here’s a close up look at my finished card where you can see some of the detail.
Boy oh boy am I going to miss that Gold Glimmer. I have still be using it but sadly it is retiring and it has sold out *insert crying face here!*
I have also added some Vellum flowers to the mix for a different kind of texture.
Here’s a look at the decorated inside to my card which I have kept simple with layers of Basic Black and Whisper White and added some more of the Tropical Oasis DSP and another sentiment ‘I miss you so much” from the Product Giveback PDF.
I have then added another Gold Glimmer flower with a Glitter Enamel Dot.
I hope you enjoyed a look at my card today, which I could send to so many of my gorgeous friends and family that I am forever THANKFUL for.
Be sure to check out the other blogs in today’s hop, because there are many amazing talented paper crafters that have taken part!
