Santa’s Suit ~ Have a Jolly Christmas

Hello everyone and welcome back to my blog.

Today I am sharing a Christmas card that I made on a recent crafting retreat.

I absolutely love the Santa’s Suit bundle from Stampin’ Up! It’s so much fun to use and create a fun little washing line with Santa’s clothes.

I put together this really quick and simple card featuring a few simple colours and a couple of accent embellishments like the gorgeous Basic Black Shimmer ribbon.

At the bottom of this post I have added a full list of the products I have used on this card.

I went with a simple colour scheme for this card of red, black, crumb cake and gold. I really wanted to not take away from the cute little washing line of Santa’s clothes which I have made dimensional with our fabulous mini Stampin’ Dimensionals. 

I love the effect that a bit of dimension can give a card.

I fell in love with the Basic Black Shimmer ribbon after seeing the lovely Dena Rekow use it on several of her cards and just had to have some in my stash!

I love the simple but elegant amount of shimmer it gives a card and it is so easy to tie bows with.

I added one of the sentiments on a bit of Crumb Cake cardstock and added a simple flagged banner end. 

I love the simplicity of this card and it would be easy to replicate time and time again if you were making several Christmas cards at once.
