Hello everyone!
Welcome to another TGIF challenge post.
This week is another colour challenge – and what a challenge this was! These are not colours that I would normally use! I can’t say Soft Suede is a go to colour for me – and either is Bumblebee…but I’m up for a challenge…and I love how it turned out!
Here’s a look at this week’s challenge…

Here’s a look at my finished card.
I went for a very geometric inspired card with small touches of each colour!
I cut my cardstock in Magenta Madness, Bumblebee and Soft Suede into small strips and pieces them together to create a piece that would fit underneath a small ‘window’ where my sentiment would lay.
This is a great way to introduce colours that you only want to see a little ‘peek’ of on the card.
I brought in gold to my card and used this for my sentiment and embellishments and some stark white! I love the combination of all these elements together.

Here’s a close up look at the finished card.
I used some beautiful gold ephemera from the Expressions in Ink ephemera to peek out behind the window and embellished further with some of the stunning Brushed Brass Butterflies.
How cute is the thanks sentiment?
That is from a brand new set of dies called the Amazing Thanks dies. I have been using them heaps as they are a fantastic staple to the crafting stash!

Here is a close up look at the inside of my card where I have added additional strips of the cardstock left over from the card front and added a beautiful classic black sentiment from Happy & Heartfelt Stamp Set.
I hope that you enjoyed this week’s card share from the TGIF challenges.
