Thanks for popping by the blog today.
Today I am sharing a fun card created for the Global Design Project this week #GDP330
This week was a fun sketch challenge and I had so much fun creating my project!
Be sure to pop over to the Global Design Project blog to check out all the other samples and have a go at the fun challenge this week.

Here’s a look at this week’s fun challenge.
Sketches are always fun to challenge yourself with and try something new!
I had loads of fun with this one…

Here’s a look at my finished card.
I really wanted to go for a lot of Basic White with POPS of colour.
To create my background piece I have used a die that comes as part of the Butterfly Brilliance Bundle.

This die was so much fun – it’s an arm workout to do a background but gives such a cool effect!
I coloured my butterflies using a whole selection of blends including; Daffodil Delight, Pumpkin Pie, Magenta Madness and Pool Party. They blend together so beautifully.
The cool thing about this bundle is that the butterflies all stamp using one stamp and the die cuts them all out at once – how cool is that?

Here’s a close up look at my finished card.
I added a few embellishments with some spritzes of Wink of Stella and then I used the gorgeous new Brass Butterflies to keep with the butterfly theme.
My sentiment is heat embossed in white and I used a sentiment from the Peaceful Moments Stamp Set. This stamp set is one of my favourite sentiment sets. The font and selection of sentiments in fantastic!

Here’s a look at the inside of my card where I continued to the theme and added some Gold Metallic Specialty Paper along with a leftover butterfly and a detailed butterfly cut out of vellum.
I had so much fun creating for this week’s challenge.
