Hello lovely crafty souls!
Today I am here to share with you a fabulous card using the stunning Butterfly Brilliance Bundle.
This gorgeous bundle is carrying over to the brand new Annual Catalogue but the beautiful Natural Touch Specialty Paper that I have used on this card is only available for a very short amount of time now – so if it tickles your fancy, be sure to grab some while stocks last!
This was such a fun card to make and I actually featured this on a recent Facebook Live video.
It features a fun technique of using the dies to create a stencil as a mask to add ink through and then stamp right over the top.
This gives you a shadow effect.
So much fun.
You can see the video here.
I hope you get some inspiration from today’s post.
Here’s a look at the finished card.
I chose to create this card entirely in pinks. I will admit that I am NOT a pink person. I gravitate towards blues and greens – but I chose to go all pink. It’s fun to branch out of comfort zone sometimes and I do love Magenta Madness. It adds such a brightness to a card.
I have used Blushing Bride for the majority of the layers and for the butterflies I have used a mixture of Blushing Bride and Magenta Madness Ink.
I have added some of the Natural Touch Speciality Paper in strips down the side.
See the video for how to achieve the technique.
But I promise, it’s not that hard.
Here’s a close up of the finished card.
I have used the Many Messages Bundle to achieve a fun sentiment to add to the card.
I added some basic and simple accents with the Snail Mail Twine and one of the Dandy Laser Cut pieces.
This is actually such an easy and simple card to make and so effective.
Better still, is that most of it is done on the Stamparatus and would be easy for batch-making cards! Simple and yet effective!
I hope you got some crafty inspiration.
