I am so excited to be sharing another fantastic Global Design Project challenge with you.
When I saw this week’s challenge I was pretty keen, as I love repetitive geometric shapes on a background so I took this and ran with it!
There are heaps of beautiful samples & you can check out this week’s challenge and participate here.

Here’s a look at this week’s fun challenge. You can take this challenge however you interpret it, that’s the fun of these challenges!

For my card this week I had a lot of fun!
I wanted to create a beautiful background using circles (I created these using the Watercolour Shapes Stamp Set) and have a load of fun colouring these beautiful sunflowers.
We recently had a big field of sunflowers close to home and it inspired me to get out this stamp set and have some fun colouring with my Stampin’ Blends!
I created a slim line card and added some Coastal Cabana layers after stamping with my dots.
My sunflowers were two toned coloured in a mixture of Pumpkin Pie and Daffodil Delight. I have coloured the centre’s with a mixture of Soft Suede and Crumb Cake with a line of Basic Black around the very outside.
Combined with some leaves stamped and coloured in Granny Apple Green, these sunflowers came tougher!

I added these to my card and kept it pretty simple. I have added a sentiment from the Create With Friends Stamp Set heat embossed in white on some Basic Black Cardstock and embellished with some of the Artistry Blooms Sequins.
Such a bright, fun and happy card!

Here’s a look at the inside of my card where I have used some of the leftover sunflower images and stamped another fun sentiment from the Create with Friends Stamp Set.
What a fun challenge this week.
Be sure to pop over to the Global Design Project and see all the other gorgeous projects and join in on the fun challenge!
