Hello and welcome back to my blog on this fine Tuesday.
I am excited to share with you a fun new card today sharing some fun blending techniques, one of my favourite stamp sets and a gorgeous pink colour scheme!
See below for more!

This card was created for Kylie Bertucci’s Monthly International Blog Highlights.
This is a fun blog hop which shares a whole heap of project for creators all around the world.
You can see all the projects here (and vote for mine too if you like it!)

Here’s a look at my finished card.
I really wanted to have a play with some blending and heat emboss resist techniques on this card. The Cottage Rose stamp is one of my favourite new stamps from the Annual Catalogue and it looks GORGEOUS stamped and heat embossed in gold – especially when you use Blending Brushes to ink right over the top!
I have used a mixture of Sweet Sorbet and Polished Pink to blend some ink over the top focusing on the outside edges to create a bit of an ‘aperture’ look. I love how it turned out.
To add some extra ‘fun’ and texture I have added some splatters of white using the Whisper White Craft ink refill with a Water Painter. TIP: You do need to water this down a little bit to create the splatters.

Here is a close up look at the finished card where you can see some of the texture and dimension.
I loved creating some of the finishing textures on this card.
I have made the feature point on the card the sentiment which I have die cut from the beautiful Rose Gold Foil using the Sending Smiles Dies and then Die Cut the solid piece from Basic White Thick cardstock and Foam Adhesive Sheets. I just love the dimension of this piece.
I added an additional sentiment from the stamp set from this bundle.
I have then added some further embellishment using some splatters of Wink of Stella.
This was so much fun to make!

Here is a close up look at the inside of my finished card where I have added some additional stamping in Polished Pink using the coordinating stamp set from the Cottage Rose stamp set in Polished Pink and a sentiment stamped in Memento Black from the Sending Smiles in Memento Black.
I hope that you were able to get some inspiration from today’s blog share.
Be sure to pop over to the blog post to check out all the other amazing inspiration and check out & vote for my card if you wish.
Happy crafty hugs! xx
