Stampin’ Up! ~ #GDP245 ~ Dandelion Wishes

Hello lovelies!

Happy new week and happy new Global Design Project challenge.

This week is a fun one as I LOVE colour challenges and especially when they feature new colours!

This week I have mixed the new with the old and brought out a stamp set that I haven’t used in such a long time but is still available and that is the gorgeous Dandelion Wishes!

It makes such stunning cards and I just love the font in the sentiments!

Here’s a look at my finished card.

The challenge this week was to use a combination of Just Jade, Magenta Madness and Bumblebee. No problems — Just Jade and Magenta Madness are actually my personal favourites.

I do have something to admit though. I did have to do this with only the cardstock, ribbons and enamel dots as I don’t have the ink pads or anything else just yet – but challenge accepted and I really enjoyed it!

I have heat embossed the fun dandelion image from the Dandelion Wishes Stamp Set on my piece of Just Jade Cardstock and then added a think strip of Gold Foil to the bottom of this piece which I have matted with Basic Black.

I then added some metallic gold trim from the Forever Greenery Trim Combo Pack.

Of course I also added some Wink of Stella to my background.

Here’s a close up look at the finished card.

I have added some ribbons in both Magenta Madness and Bumblebee right over the top of my bow that I created with the metallic gold trim. I have then added a beautiful foliage piece from the Forever Gold Specialty Laser Cut pieces and heat embossed my sentiment in white on Basic Black Cardstock.

I have fussy cut this sentiment out. It’s easier than it looks! I then adhered this over the top with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

Lastly I have embellished with some of the 2020-2022 In Colour Enamel Dots in all the featured colours.

Here’s a look at the decorated inside of my card which I have kept simple with layer layer of Basic Black and Whisper White with a small strip of Gold Foil.

I have stamped an additional dandelion image in Melon Mambo and added some more metallic gold thread.
