So excited to be bringing you another week of a Global Design Project challenge.
This week we are CASE (Copy & Selectively Edit) the beautiful Krista Frattin’s project.
Her work is so adorably stylish!
You can check out her blog here.
Be sure to hop over to the Global Design Project blog this week and check out this week’s challenge.

Here’s a look at the card we are being inspired by for the challenge.
I just loved it’s elegant simplicity.
I decided to really keep it simple and follow the same layout and design principles and use a brand new bundle to my collection – The Sweetest Cherries Bundle.
This fabulous bundle includes a punch, so it’s super quick and easy!
Here is a look at my card.

To be honest – I was inspired by the use of the grey and blue in Krista’s card and I carried that over into my design. I stamped the card base repetitively with the ‘sweet’ sentiment and kept it simple with layers of Basic White and Coastal Cabana.
The fun comes with the cherries. They can be stamped in so many colours! I have stamped them in a mixture of Sweet Sorbet, Granny Apple Green, Parakeet Party and Soft Suede. The quick and easy punch puts these together in a breeze!
I stamped the little weave background underneath with one of the stamps from the set and added some beautiful gold thread from one of my favourite returning ribbons, the Gold Shimmer Ribbon. Fray the ribbon and pull the threads out and you have some gorgeous gold thread!

Here is a close up look at the finished card.
I embellished with some Parakeet Party In Colour Matte Decorative Dots. I love these dots!
Then I have added my sentiment heat embossed in white on basic Black. I did fussy cut this out for a gorgeous bold sentiment.

I couldn’t finish it off without having a fun inside so I stamped some more cherries and added another sentiment stamped in Soft Suede.
I had so much fun making this card. Krista’s card was so gorgeous and kicked off heaps of creativity.
Be sure to go and check out the blog and join in on the challenge.
Crafty hugs! xx
