Hello and welcome to my little blog today.
I had so much fun creating with the Waves of The Ocean suite and sitting at my desk creating for no other reason than playing with the pretty products and that gorgeous Designer Series Paper!
It was so much fun to create without a challenge, or a tutorial, but instead with total creative freedom.
I made this super fun card because I really wanted to feature that gorgeous Designer Series Paper.
If you haven’t seen it, you need to. It’s just divine.
These products are part of a limited edition suite – the bundle is part of the Annual catalogue but the gorgeous paper, foils and rhinestones are limited time!
Want to see them?
Aren’t they just gorgeous?
You can find them in my store here.
Here’s a look at my finished card.
I really wanted a quilt style look so I have actually cut heaps of the triangles of Designer Series Paper from the Stitched Rectangle Dies and then pieced them all together. I love how it turned out.
That gave me a fun base to work from to add my focal point.
I stamped that gorgeous pelican in Smoky Slate and die cut some clouds and added some Coastal Cabana Ink.
Here’s a close up of the finished card.
I embellished with some of the beautiful Essentials Bakers Twine and some of the Rhinestones.
A sentiment stamped in Pacific Pint finished this card.
It wouldn’t be complete without a decorated inside so I have added some more of the Designer Series Paper, foil and some of those pretty clouds.
I had so much fun making this card today and pssttt….will be sharing a couple more this week as I just couldn’t stop playing with this suite once I had started!
Crafty hugs! xx
