Hello lovely blog readers.
Firstly, happy new catalogue day!
I am so excited! – it’s brand new catalogue day. You can see the brand new catalogue PDF here.
Today I am excited to be sharing a card as part of Kylie Bertucci’s International Blog Highlight’s with the theme of thank you. I chose to use the sentiment ‘My Sweet Friend’ because I am always sending thank you cards to friends – so whilst this does not say ‘thank you’ it implies it and could be given as a thank you message to a friend.

The monthly highlights are such a fun way of featuring so many gorgeous cards from around the globe and you can be inspired from wide and far!
You can head over to Kylie’s blog and see all the cards that took part in this month’s hop (and vote for mine if you wish) by heading here.

Here is a look at the finished card.
I absolutely love Cinnamon Cider. I never thought that I would fall in love with BROWN – but this colour is so warm and inviting and is really like sitting down with a warm drink! I always find myself reaching for this colour.
I combined this gorgeous colour with our fabulous Bricks & Mortan 3D Embossing Folder to make a homely background for this gorgeous Welcoming Window. I love that this bundle is sticking around.
I really wanted a warm and inviting friendship card to give to a friend.
I then decided to use stark whites and used the gorgeous window die, and added some soft blending with Pool Party and using a Blending Brush behind. You only need the tiniest amount and it adds a huge impact!

Here’s a close up look at my finished card. I have stamped my vase of flowers to sit on my window sill in a mix of Early Espresso, Granny Apple Green and Magenta Madness. There are coordinating dies for all these pieces which makes it so simple and easy and then they all layer so beautifully.
I added the beautiful sentiment with heat embossing in white on some Basic Black cardstock – one of my go to ways to add a sentiment.
To embellish I have added some Enamel Dots, some Linen Thread and some Wink of Stella.
This is such a fun card to make with a whole lot of cider and a lot of love!
Be sure to pop over to Kylie’s blog and leave some love.
Big crafty hugs! xx

Beautiful card Kayla, I love the simple design and beautiful blending of colour, very eye catching and realistic. The white on white is lovely with the larger framed card base. Truly beautiful!
I like your card!
Good luck with the voting this month and greetings from Germany, Simone
