Hello everyone and welcome back to my blog.
I have had the busiest, hectic and crazy week and I really wanted to end it well with sharing this fun ‘just because’ card I made the other day.
I was really in the mood to just make a really bright and happy any day card and this really fit the bill.
The Perennial Birthday stamp set to match the Perennial Birthday kit from the Occasions Catalogue was staring at me and just begging to be used for something other than the kit, so I set to work to create something bright and fun.
I have so many people in mind to send a ‘just because’ card to and make their day a little brighter, which is something I just love to do.
It’s always important to strive to make people smile and make them happy!
I went for Basic Black and Whisper White as my main two colours and accented with; Lemon Lime Twist, Melon Mambo, Emerald Envy and a touch of metallics from the gorgeous Springtime Foils Sale-a-Bration DSP which you can currently earn FREE on a $90 order.
That’s pretty cool!
I saw someone use the lovely banner from the Cupcake Cutouts Framelits as a banner for their sentiment so really used that as inspiration for this card when creating the design.
It isn’t perfect, but I love the rough idea.
