Hello hello! I am excited for another weekly live and using one of my favourite new Online Exclusive collection – the Everyday Skies Suite. There is something about these gorgeous ‘scenic’ patterned papers that gets me every time but this one is just A.M.A.Z.I.N.G – it really worked well for this tri fold shaker card. This design was also a perfect way to show off those beautiful arch dies!
I had a lot of fun creating this Tri Fold Shaker card this week and hope that you enjoyed the project. Be sure to scroll to the bottom where you can download the Free PDF & video class.

Here is a look at the finished Trifold Shaker Card. What I love about card designs like this one is that they all fold down to fit in a standard sized envelope.
The Everyday Skies suite collection features the most stunning colours and I chose to feature a few of them in my card design today…
the colours featured on this project
The gorgeous blues with the pinks & purples just remind me of one of those gorgeous dusk skies. Such a stunning combination.
a look at how the tri fold ‘folds’ out

Here is a look how this card all folds out in an accordion style to reveal three sections that really not only show off this amazing arch design in this bundle/suite but also the stunning patterns in the Designer Series Paper.
The versatility of these nested style dies is amazing. You can see it worked well to create this accordion style card but also to create windows for shaker cards like this one.

Here is a better look at how the trifold shaker card folds out to reveal the simplicity and beauty of this design. I was inspired to create the shaker card style die to not wanting to cover up the beautiful Designer Series Paper behind. The window allows you to still see that gorgeous pattern while still adding some pizzazz and interest to the card.

Here is a close up look at the shaker on this card. The Bokeh mix that is new to the Mini Catalogue is perfect for shaker cards and I can see I will be using it on lots of projects!
