Vibrant Vases Birthday Card ~ Retiring In Colors!

Hello and welcome back to my blog!

Today I am sharing with you something that is both sad and happy!

That is the retiring In Colors! They have been around for two years and now we are saying goodbye to welcome the five NEW in colors, Seaside Spray, Pretty Peacock, Rococo Rose, Terracotta Tile and Purple Posy….

So in good fashion I made a card using ALL the retiring colours.

I made this birthday card for a dear friend Samantha who recently celebrated her birthday.

Here’s a look at the colours we are saying goodbye to…

I must admit that I am really sad to see Lemon Lime Twist going as that was my dear favourite but it is quickly being replaced by the new gorgeous Pretty Peacock.

I have used the Lovely Lace Embossing Folder on this card too, which I did mistakingly forget to link in the supplies below.

I have a bit of a love for the new Rectangle Stitched Framelits, and just love the texture and fun they add to a card. You can use them as a layer, create a frame, use the negative or the positive!

So many possibilities!

I also used the fun Well Written Bundle to get my ‘Happy Birthday’ and added a bit of gold with the Gold Glimmer paper.

I celebrated more of the In Colors by using the Powder Pink Ruffled Ribbon and a Powder Pink In Color button.
