This weekend I had the BEST time crafting along with an Online Stamping Retreat—and today’s card is one of the projects I created during the event.
This fun fold is called a Slide & Surprise Card, and it was taught by the incredibly talented Bruno Bertucci. I absolutely love interactive cards, and this one is such a showstopper!

A Fun Interactive Design

At first glance, this card looks like a bold, bright birthday card… but once you pull the tab (yes… it says “slide me!” ), the magic happens!
The inside panel slides up to reveal even more colour, stamping and a hidden message—such a fun surprise for the recipient.

This style of card is just so FUN to create and even more fun to give. It’s perfect for:
– Birthday cards
– Kids (or kids at heart!)
– Anyone who loves a little interactive surprise

Plus, it’s a great way to step outside your comfort zone and try something a little different.

Bright, Bold & Beachy

I decided to give my version a super vibrant, summery feel using the Beach Boardwalk Suite from Stampin’ Up!
Think sunset skies, tropical palms and carnival vibes

– Ink blended rainbow backgrounds
– Silhouetted palm trees and rollercoaster details
– A layered ferris wheel focal point
– Bright embellishments for that extra pop
It’s giving summer nights at the fair vibes!

I have used some fun spinners on this card and re-purposed the ferris wheel die to make it spin. So much fun. You can find the spinners that I have used here.
