I had so much fun creating this fun dual pop up card that I learned in the Online Stamping Retreat that I attended back in October last year with the fabulous Kylie & Bruno Bertucci, Lisa Curcio and Gina Hawley. I have been having a blast making a few of these cards and sharing them over the last week, you can see the cards I have shared here, here & here. The one I am sharing today is the card I made based off Bruno Bertucci’s card from the Online Stamping Retreat. Bruno used the Earthen Elegance Suite, and WOW, what a beauty of a suite this one is!
Speaking of Online Stamping Retreat — registration is open for the 2024 Session One Retreat!! I have my ticket and I am ready to go! I am so very excited and can’t wait. You can book your place here.

the finished pop up card

This is such a fun a suite to work with. I kept my pop up card similar to Bruno’s original card with similar elements. I love that the Deckled Circles Dies provided a good base for the focal point of my card. These dies are definitely a great essential to have in your stash! I embossed mine using the Basics 3D embossing folders and added some Copper Clay blending to add some extra definition.
The beautiful texture that this bundle and suite provide are just gorgeous. Some of the dies coordinate with the stamped images and some provide die only extra cuts. Mix it up with colours, textures and different speciality papers and it really adds lots of beautiful depth and dimension.
the colour palette
I decided to change up my colour scheme and add in some Wild Wheat and Berry Burst that are not featured in the Designer Series Paper for an extra pop of colour – I love how this turned out!
a close up of the details…

Here is a close up look at the finished pop a card and some of the closer detail. I embellished the card with some of the copper brushed metallic dots as well as weaving some of the Wavy Trim around one of the larger pots.
For the base of the pop up card, I have lightly brushed a Pecan Pie Ink Pad over the top to add some extra dimension/definition.
a look at the pop up card mechanism

This is where the magic of the dual pop up card lies! You open up the card and there are some dual doors that pop open to reveal an opening card, it really is magic! The design is similar to Bruno’s original card and I chose to keep similar feature elements. I used the same embossing folder as the one I used on the card front and chose to add some more blending with Copper Clay Ink.
The pots have been stamped and die cut from the Designer Series Paper, the Oxidised Specialty Paper and also stamped and die cut. I added some stamps and die cut foliage to add into the pots
the dual pop up card detail

This picture shows the top panel of the inside where I added another “Thank You” sentiment and some more die cut and stamped detail as well as my favourite die cut “the fan piece” which I have die cut from my favourite dazzle speciality paper. I love that this became a feature of the card!
a look at the finished card and the inside

Here is a look at the finished inside. The card opens completely up to reveal the inside panel where there is a piece for some writing to the recipient. I have added some soft Pecan Pie blending and some light stamping and embellishing.
I love how this pop up card turned out and have been loving making this series of dual pop up cards! Learning new fun folds at the Online Stamping Retreat was so much fun and I can’t wait to attend another retreat in February! Be sure to check out all the details here.
You can still purchase the Earthen Elegance Suite in my online store, and I have listed all the supplies I have used below. This beautiful suite blows my mind with all the deep colour and rich texture.
I hope that you got some inspiration, much love and crafty hugs. xx
