Hello there lovely and welcome to my blog, thanks for stopping by.
Today I wanted to share with you some lovely notecards I made using the gorgeous Bird Ballad suite of products.
I actually made these ones a while ago and have had them sitting here to share with you all. I have been a slack blogger and need to get better at scheduling my posts!
I actually ordered these products when I attended the Onstage event in New Zealand back in April and these were one of the first things that I created when I received my gorgeous PPP box.
The gorgeous designs in the paper and that gorgeous bird stamp had my heart fluttering!
Here’s the set of three cards I made, each with the laser cut notecards (that come in the cutest tin!) and each featuring a gorgeous Bird Ballad Designer Series Paper.
I love that when Stampin’ Up! design their papers they usually have a busier side and a more subtle side to each, it really gives you a lot of possibilities with the paper!
I had a lot of fun colouring these gorgeous birds with a mixture of my Stampin’ Blends and making each bird slightly unique in it’s own way.
You can see all the products I have used to make these cards linked below.
This is probably my favourite of the three cards as I just love that gorgeous yellow DSP.
I have accented each card with some of the beautiful Very Vanilla Scalloped Lace Trim and finished it with a gorgeous Bird Ballad Trinket. I have used so many of those trinkets that I had to order three packets!
Another feature of the Bird Ballad suite that I just love is those super versatile and fun Stitched Nested Labels dies. Those dies are so versatile for so many cards from any suite and any stamp set! They are a must have in every craft stash!
This is one of the more busy patterns, but I just loved these fun birds in the background combined with the sweet pink polka dot patterned paper.
I have only used the tiniest amount of Tombow Glue on the back of the lace cards to adhere the designer paper.
You can see in the photo below, I have also adhered cardstock to the back of the back, otherwise you would see the reverse design upon opening the card.
I couldn’t not stamp the inside of the card, so I used one of the sentiments from the Bird Ballad Stamp set to finish these notecards off.
I hope you liked seeing my set of cards using this suite today.
Don’t forget to see all the products I have used linked below, which you can purchase in my store.
Happy Crafting. xx
