Woven Threads ~ Sisters Scrapbook Page

Hello lovely blog readers and thanks so much for stopping by my blog today.

It has been a little while, I am so sorry!

I have come down with a nasty winter virus and have laryngitis and a mild case of pneumonia.

Let’s just say, lots of rest time was in order!

I wanted to come by and share some crafting with you however, as it has not stopped me from being at my craft table when I can.

Here is a scrapbook page I made recently inspired by the gorgeous Woven Threads Designer Series Paper.

I have really loved getting back into scrapbooking when I can and our Stampin’ Up! Designer Series Papers are perfect for this.

I have this photo of my younger sister and I taken earlier this year and I really wanted to document this, I love memory keeping and documenting these precious memories.

I have used quite the mixture of stamp sets and dies and even the new Four Petal Punch!

I must admit that I have a bit of a love affair with the Well Written Dies. They are great for titles for scrapbook pages, as sentiments for cards and all sorts. I have used them a lot!

Here I have cut the word ‘friend’ several times from a piece of Woven Threads DSP to create a thicker, layered look.

I used the Four Petal flower punch and the Woven Threads DSP again to create a flower accent and finished this with one of the Perennial Essence floral centres. I love those things and have already been through a WHOLE PACKET! Yep…I love them that much!

Here’s a close up of the journalling and some more of the accents.

Another favourite of mine is also the Sahara Sand Woven Threads Trim. If you trim the bottom from it, you get this fun tassel edged trim. How fun is that?
