Botanical Prints Medley ~ Thank You Card

Hello and welcome back to my little blog on this fine Saturday.

I hope that whatever your plans and wherever you are – that you are getting some fun and therapeutic crafting time in!
I have a lovely weekend at home with my lovely little family – those kinds of weekends are always the best!

Today I have something pretty special to share with you and that is the beautiful Botanical Prints Medley and a card that I have made using this adorable suites.
Our product medleys are such a perfect choice regardless of what level you are at as a crafter, as they contain everything you need to create some beautiful projects – and the hard work of matching it all together is done for you!

Today I have added just a few items in and I had a card DONE!

I love it when that happens. Even better? I got to use one of my absolute favourite colours: Pretty Peacock! This is such an adorable colour!

Here’s a look at the finished card.

I have used a Pretty Peacock card base combined with some layers of Basic Black and a vellum overlay to soften to colour.
I have then added one of the beautiful Pretty Peacock die cut layers that are included in the beautiful medley and backed this with a layer of Crumb Cake. This formed the basis for my card design.

I have then added a beautiful die cut piece using the Stitched So Sweetly Dies that are available in my store and are from the Mini Catalogue. This helped form a base for my focal point of the card.

Here you can see a close up image of the finished card where you can see some of the texture and detail.

I have added some gorgeous Linen Thread and some of the beautiful Old Olive ribbon that comes in the medley.
My favourite thing though? The stamped floral arrangement that I have coloured with a mixture of Pretty Peacock and Mint Macaron Stampin’ Blends. Don’t those two colours just look so sweet together?

I have then added some foliage cut in both Crumb Cake and Pretty Peacock using the coordinating dies from the medley and even added one of the beautiful Copper Dragonflies that is included.
They are just so sweet!

Here’s a look at the decorated inside of my card where I have added some layers of Whisper White and Basic Black and added some beautiful die cuts and stamps from the medley which I have once again coloured with Stampin’ Blends, this time with a mixture of Granny Apple Green and Pretty Peacock Stampin’ Blends.

I have just loved playing with this medley and I am sure that you would too.
