Hi again lovely blog readers!
i am back again today to finally share a project that has been sitting on my desk ready to create for too long!
I was really inspired by Stampin’ Up’s YouTube video where they popped up a tutorial on how to decorate this gorgeous card tin (which unfortunately has now sold out) and these gorgeous matching cards. I was really excited with how simple and easy the design was, and wanted to get to creating.
You can see the video for yourself here;
It’s a great video that goes through all the supplies you will need plus basic instructions on how to put it all together! It’s definitely a must watch, while you are there check out all the other amazing videos on the Stampin’ Up YouTube channel!
I haven’t changed up much from what is seen in the video, except for some of the card stock colours as unfortunately my stash is running really low at the moment!
I have kept to Night of Navy, Crumb Cake and Mint Macaron (I really wish Mint Macaron was not retiring at the end of May!!!)
I have also used my much loved linen thread instead of the white bakers twine.
Linen thread is one of my must haves and I always add at least two packets to any given order!
Here’s a little close up of the detail of some of the cards. Did I mention how easy these are to put together?
This is possibly my favourite pattern from the Carried Away Designer Series Paper. It’s an overhead map view and I think I just love it because of the Peekaboo Peach and Mint Macaron that features so largely in the design!
DID YOU KNOW THIS PAPER IS FREE?
Only for ONE MORE DAY as it ends TODAY. You can get it free by placing an order of $90 or more!
This is one of my other favourites as I love the bold Night of Navy design with the Whisper White balloons and clouds. Isn’t it gorgeous? Look how great it looks with the Peekaboo Peach, it really makes it pop!
Finally here is a close up of the finished and decorated tin.
This tin has unfortunately sold out from the Sale-a-Bration selections but there is a tin that you can purchase from the annual catalogue with gorgeous Navy and White stripes. This would be a great alternative.
I am looking forward to decorating the inside dividers of this tin and storing all my favourite cards to be sent in the mail inside.
I hope you have enjoyed this post and a little peek of what I have been working on. x
With Sale-a-Bration being so popular and in it’s very last day, unfortunately a couple of the items have SOLD OUT!
There are still plenty other choices though, get in quick to grab them on their very last day!
