Today I am coming to you to share something a little bit different, the Christmas countdown project kit used slightly different – as a bit of a self care countdown.
Let’s just say that we challenge ourselves to 25 days of self care!
It’s very important, and definitely something that I am very passionate about.
In this project I just really wanted to show that this Countdown Project kit can be used for so much more than just Christmas – and here we have it.
Of course it also features my favourite suite from the Annual catalogue – the Noble Peacock suite!

I have incorporated a couple of stamp sets in my project.
Firstly I used the Family Party stamp set for all those fun numbers. I did stamp them with Versamark onto Whisper White cardstock and then heat embossed them with Gold embossing powder. The challenging part was that I did fussy cut them all out – but perfect job whilst binge watching Netflix.
I then used the gorgeous Silhouette Scenes and heat embossed one of the gorgeous sentiments in white as you can see in the close up below.
To make this project easier, I die cut (with the coordinating dies) a heap of feathers and components using the Noble Peacock foils and coordinating cardstock colours to give me lots of bits and pieces to layer.
Here in the close up you can see some of the detail that I have added.
I used the 1” circle punch combined with the smallest scalloped circle punch to create a base for each of my numbers to be placed on. I have cut the scalloped circles from Noble Peacock foils.
I finished off my embellishing with Noble Peacock reversible ribbon and Noble Peacock Rhinestones.
Now my mission is to use this self care calendar/countdown to it’s absolute best!
