Christmastime is Here ~ Christmas Rose Card

Hello lovely blog readers and welcome back to my little crafty blog.

Today I have something exciting to share with you – a card using a limited time release bundle – Christmastime is Here.

I created this card at a recent class using this suite of products at my house and had so much fun creating a fun ombre background with a sponging technique and using the beautiful Pretty Peacock, Bermuda Bay and Coastal Cabana Inks.

I love to create my own background and really make them pop!

I have then spritzed water in my hand using a Stampin’ Spritzer to create water droplets that draw the ink away from the cardstock as I have sponged using a water based ink.

I then finished off the background by spritzing it with Wink of Stella to add some shimmer and shine!

I have then taken the large Christmas Rose stamp and stamped this in Versamark and heat embossed in lovely white, which really makes it stand out and shine against the colours I chose for my background cardstock piece.

Here’s a close up of the finished card.

I have accented using some coordinating dies from the bundle and then stamped my sentiment using Versamark ink and heat embossing with gold embossing powder.

I added some die cuts in both vellum and Gold Glimmer Paper.

Finally I have added some Linen Thread, Gold Shimmer Ribbon and Glitter Enamel Dots to call it done.
