Country Club Suite ~ Father's Day Card - Kayla Renee, Stampin' Up! Demonstrator

Hello lovely blog readers & a big HAPPY EASTER!

I hope you are having a lovely day with those around you and being safe wherever you are!

Today I have something TOTALLY not Easter related to share with you and that is a Father’s Day Card.

You are probably thinking WHAT? Father’s Day isn’t until September – but I just had to get in early and create this one because I just loved this design (which was featured in the Mini Catalogue) using that beautiful Father’s Day Stamp.

This is perfect for me as Declan is into golf and so is his Dad. Have plenty of people I could give these too!

The fun Country Club Designer Series Paper was also perfect with these awesome golf caddy designs that you can just cut out and a make a really fun repetitive geometric background – that is super easy with the paper already designed and printed for you!

Here’s a look at the finished card.

I have used the coordinating dies from the Clubhouse Bundle to cut some foliage and combined that with a circle cut from the Stitched Shapes Dies and one of the awesome wooden pieces from the Country Club Elements – I love these, they add so much texture and dimension!

I have also added some of the fabulous Country Club Twine! This stuff is fabulous and slightly thicker than our normal bakers twine!

Here’s a close up look at the finished card where you can see some more of the texture and detail.

I have used Poppy Parade to stamp the ‘Happy Fathers Day’ which I have die cut from the coordinating die. I have also adhered this using Stampin’ Dimensionals to raise it up.

Finally I had to decorate the inside, so I have added layers of white and Crumb Cake and added a strip of the Country Club Designer Series Paper and a simple sentiment from the stamp set stamped in Poppy Parade!

It’s actually a super easy card to make and so much fun for the guys in our life!

You could change it up and make it a masculine birthday card easily!
