Country Club Suite ~ Shaker Birthday Card

Hello everyone and thanks for visiting my little blog today.
I am very excited to come by and share another card that I have made using the ever so beautiful Country Club suite of products.

I will admit that masculine cards are not usually my forte, and as a rule I am not very good at them.
Solution? I used the catalogue for inspiration and created this really fun shaker card!

I will say, this suite is very themed…obviously for the golfers! But the Designer Series Paper could be used for so much more than just the golfers.
These designs would make fabulous patterns for all kinds of cards much beyond the avid golfers.

Here’s a look at the finished card where you can see how it all came together.
I just love that golf ball stamp, and it makes such a fun background for the shaker components.
Personally I just love those Country Club Wooden Elements. They make for such fun accents on cards!

The fun golf ball is cut from one of the coordinating dies in the bundle, and I have just ever so lightly brushed over ink with a Stampin’ Sponge in Smoky Slate to pick up on the gorgeous detail in that die.

To create the ‘shaker’ window I have used the Stitched Rectangle dies for a quick and easy window. Gosh those dies have been amazing. I have used them to death!

The shaker contents has a mixture of the Wooden Elements and die cuts cut with the coordinating dies in Garden Green, Granny Apple Green, Night of Navy, Crushed Curry and Basic Gray.

I have also added some stamping and layers to the inside of the card.
I have stamped the golf ball and tee and coloured this with Stampin’ Blends and then added a sentiment.
