#Elfie ~ Christmas Cards

Hello and welcome back to my blog & Happy Monday!

I had a very chilled weekend, ran my Holiday catalogue launch party and had crafty fun with lots of ladies! I then had a relaxing Sunday, because a migraine struck me down!

I did however want to come and share a couple of recent cards I have made with you though using one of the fabulous new stamps #Elfie from the new Holiday catalogue.

I just love the whimsy and cute feel of these stamps and honestly? just needed some colouring therapy! The Stampin’ Blends are so good for that!

I then whipped out some new products including the gorgeous new Designer Series Paper and Embellishments from The Most Wonderful Time Medley which is just stunning!

Here’s a look at the two finished cards. I went one with green and one with red, with the backside of a couple of the patterned papers.

I really wanted the focus to be on those cute elves that I had coloured, so I used the Rectangle Stitched Shapes to create a focal point for them.

I have brought in lots of gold to accent and some vellum to tone it down and add more texture and of course some Linen Thread as it is just one of my all time favourites!

Here’s a close up of the finished cards. You can see how much fun the Stampin’ Blends are here, and you can see all the colours I have used linked below.

There’s no right or wrong. My best tip is to stamp a heap of images, sit down in front of Netflix or the TV and colour away. Practice practice practice!

Here’s a look at my coordinating inside, where I used one of the sentiment stamps and the beautiful accent/background stamp which I had used the brand new Golden Glitz Delicata ink which is also one of my new favourites!
