Everything is Rosy ~ Cards

Hello again!

It’s almost the end of the week and the weekend. Yippee! I’d say that I am having a crafty weekend but work it is for me 😉 Who knows, I may get a few minutes here and there to craft.

So here’s the two cards I have made to show you just how gorgeous these products are…

I created two very different cards, featuring the layered die cut background and a fun watercolored background. They are both very different but use the same products.

I loved combining the Melon Mambo with Night of Navy and also Granny Apple Green and a touch of Coastal Cabana. Of course there is the beautiful Rose Gold in there too!

Here is a close up of the layered die cut background cut. I love this technique, especially when it uses tone on tone. Here I have used one of the included dies to cut out heaps of swirly flourishes in white cardstock and layered them on a piece of white cardstock.

I finished this with some Rose Gold shimmer paint in a Stampin’ Spritzer and some Basic Black Stampin’ Write Marker flicks!

This card is very different and uses Watercolour paper and some Night of Navy and Coastal Cabana Ink refills to achieve this watercolored background,

I simply wet the whole piece of watercolour paper first with a Stampin’ Spritzer and then dropped droplets of ink refills over the card. I then misted it to let the colours run together. I did let this one dry naturally so it does take some time.

I have also used both included ribbons from the medley on this card.

I thought I would also share a picture of the inside of the card, both are the same.

I added a strip of the gorgeous Everything is Rosy Designer Paper which by the way is beautifully foiled in Rose Gold.

I also added a sentiment, some Night of Navy Cardstock and some Night of Navy bakers twine to finish it off.
