I was so excited to go live on my Facebook page last night and create these fun Doughnut & Coffee themed friendship card designs! The new More Than Autumn bundle from Stampin’ Up! is just so much fun! I loved having a play with different colour combinations and Stampin’ Blends to create these cards.

the finished donut themed friendship card

Here is a look at the finished doughnut version of my friendship card designs. Do any of you spell doughnut two ways and struggle between the donut/doughnut dilemma? I am going to go with doughnut for this post since that is what the stamp set says!

I had fun with this design using a mixture of; Pretty in Pink, Lemon Lolly, Fresh Freesia, Daffodil Delight and Black! Such a fun and playful feeling colour combo!

I have also mixed in the Friends for Life bundle for this BIG sentiment which really is what helps make this design. Thanks to Maheswari for helping me decide on that. I made this original card on a fun Stamping Lounge virtual catch up with all the members. We all had so much fun!

These close ups show some of the fun dimension and detail and also the fun additions on the inside where I added another of the fun sentiments from the More Than Autumn stamp set saying; “Nothing’s Better Than Doughnuts”. I just thought that was so much fun.

Here is a look at the alternative version of the card that I actually made on the live video but this time using the coffee cup theme for some fun and colourful latte’s!
I went with another Stamping Lounge colour combo using; Melon Mambo, Calypso Coral, Summer Splash & Pumpkin Pie! So bright and fun!

Instead of using twelve images I have used the larger cups and reduced it down to six. To create this design you really just need a repetitive image you can repeat in ‘rows’.

Here is a look at the fun colours, details and dimension. I loved the addition of the Summer Splash Glimmer Paper for the coffee alternative. On the black it really POPS!

Another fun addition to this alternative was adding the Mini Alphabet Dies to spell out ‘coffee’ on the inside of the card. I have shared how get this ombre effect and really save on cardstock on my video which you catch on the PDF download below.
