What a week I have had sharing projects right here on the blog! Needless to say I am feeling a bit weary and tired today and what better thing to do than pull out one of the Stampin’ Up! Creativity Kits to play.
The Heirloom Arrangements kit that was released in February had been sitting in my craft room begging and eager to be created with!
It is BEAUTIFUL…sometimes a kit or collection just calls to me and this one did just that.
I had a bit of a sit & play with it and decided to bring in some cardstock and create an alternative and make a double gatefold card. I hope that you enjoy seeing what I created.

Here is a look at the finished double gatefold card. This is such a quick and easy fold that just adds a little bit of extra WOW! to a project!

What really inspired me first of all upon opening the Heirloom Arrangements kit was the colours. I wanted to dig in and have a play with some different colour combinations than what I would usually gravitate towards. I love that suites & kits can inspire you to try something new.

These colours are just darling together! Cajun Craze is a colour that I often leave behind and sits there with no friends on my shelf but I have been learning to love it a bit more!

Here is a close up look at the finished card where you can see the texture, detail, dimension and how that double gatefold works. Don’t forget to check the PDF at the bottom of this post to get the measurements and instructions to make one for yourself.

Some of the creativity kits including this Heirloom Arrangements kit come with an exclusive stamp to match the kit and this one made for some adorable details and texture stamping that I could add to my project. Better still…I can keep creating with that stamp long after I have finished with this kit.

It’s such a beautiful stamp with the texture, butterfly and beautiful sentiments!
