Something I love about Stampin’ Up! is the awesome kits that they bring out with each new catalogue.
The brand new kits featured in the brand new Occasions catalogue are no exception. The new Lots of Happy card kit is amazing!
It’s an all inclusive kit which means that you literally get EVERYTHING you need to create the projects including ink, clear block, watercolour pencils and even adhesive!
It’s an amazing product for brand new stampers/crafters with full colour instructions and no need to already have anything at home.
It would also make the perfect gift!
I had a ball creating these five cards with one of my downline who ran it at a recent class and thought I would come by and show you the finished products here on my blog.
Do you know what is even better? Once you are done with this kit not only do you get to keep the cute box that it comes in but there is a refill kit available so you can make them all again without the need to purchase the starter kit that already includes the stamps, pencils, ink and block!
Winning!
Here’s a look at the finished cards…
I must admit that colouring isn’t something that comes totally natural to me, but with the ease of Stampin’ Up!’s watercolour pencils, I feel like a true artist!
I love that the kit also comes with two exclusive colours in the pencils; Lemon Lime Twist & Flirty Flamingo! How cool is that?
I coloured lightly in some areas and darker in others and then blended them all over with our amazing Blender pens.
You don’t really want to use an Aqua Painter with this particular technique as the cardstock will be too thin to take too much water. That is the awesome thing about the Blender Pens.
I love the little vellum leaves that the kit comes with. They work perfectly well with this kit and make for a really soft and romantic feel to these cards.
They also look really beautiful with the Sahara Sand card bases.
These mini cards are so so cute!
The best thing about these too is that you don’t have to worry about finding the right envelope to fit these mini cards as the kit also comes with coordinating envelopes.
Here’s another little mini card. I love the touches of gold foil. Gold goes with everything!
This was probably my favourite card out of the whole set.
I love those beautiful leaf branches. The mixture of Old Olive and Lemon Lime Twist pencils really makes for a true life colour tone to the branches.
Lastly, a bit of a fun shaped card.
It’s not often you will see an octagonal card! Something a bit different and fun.
Isn’t that Lemon Lime Twist Ombre Ribbon just to die for? Another exclusive from the kit!
I hope you enjoyed this look at the cards I made with the Lots of Happy Card Kit.
I hope it’s inspired you to give one of our card kits a go.
They are so much fun and so easy to work with!
Happy Crafting! xx
