When I think about what I will create for my weekly live video I am often trying to come up with a new fun fold or intricate design…however this week I wanted to play with this brand new Textured Notes bundle from the Online Exclusives and upon playing it and the gorgeous intricately detailed stamps I realised that this bundle speaks for itself and doesn’t need too much ‘fluff’ as I like to call it. This design worked well for a simple but aesthetically please monochromatic card.
Of course I gravitated towards a blue monochrome look.

Here is a look at the finished card in all it’s blue and monochromatic glory!
This new Textured Notes bundle of products is both understated but elegant and provides enough detail that it lends itself to the beauty of more ‘simple’ handmade cards. I mean I still added my usual embellishments and layers – but I kept it more understated than usual!

Is it that much of a surprise that my two favourite colours; Coastal Cabana and Summer Splash made their way onto this card? Haha! I opted to work in a bit of an ombre of monochromatic colours working my way across from a lighter blue through to Night of Navy!

I didn’t add too much to this card as I found the gorgeous stitched detail on the Textured Notes rectangle dies just added so much detail in itself. Using the 3D Mini Corrugated embossing folder I added the tiniest bit of texture underneath my sentiment.

I finished the card with some of the Night of Navy Linen Thread and some beautifully sparkly Iridescent Faceted Gems.
