Ornate Garden Suite ~ Thank You Card

Today I have something really exciting to share with you, and that is a card using a BRAND NEW suite that is being released early from the upcoming Annual Catalogue.

Here’s a look at the finished card.

This one I actually made on a whim the day that I received these products, and decided to make a Facebook Live of me making the card.

Be warned: this video was made with no intentions of what I was making – so you get to see my whole process and me deliberating and making choices!

I have actually CASE’d a card that was used in the advertising for this suite from Stampin’ Up!, you can see it in the picture at the end of the blog post.

It’s always something that I recommend when you aren’t ‘feeling’ the inspiration flowing – go the catalogue and CASE (copy and selectively edit) a sample.

It really is an idea book, as much as it is a catalogue!

I decided to very much stick with a Mint Macaron, Whisper White and Terracotta Tile colour scheme.

I am LOVING Mint Macaron at the moment and it is becoming high up there in my favourites, along with Coastal Cabana.

I have used the coordinating Ornate Garden Terracotta Tile Ribbon and used one of the coordinating dies to cut out the flower arrangement which I used as a layer beneath my sentiment.

The large flower stamp also looks gorgeous heat embossed, especially in gold to match the DSP!

Here’s a look at my decorated inside of my card where I have kept it simple with layers of Mint macaron and some of the Ornate Garden DSP.

I have also added one of the beautiful sentiments, stamped in Mint Macaron!
