Last night on my weekly live video I don’t think it could have gone so unplanned, haha! I lost some of the supplies I needed to create the project right while live on the video which was a bit hectic, so I do have to apologise for the two part video that I created in the end when I finally found them AFTER the live underneath my die storage. Never mind, I had fun creating this puzzle fun fold card with the beautiful Frosted Forest Bundle from the Online Exclusives. There are a whole heap of amazing products in the Online Exclusives section of my online store which you can find here.
If you want the directions of how to make this card, scroll to the bottom of this post where there is a free downloadable PDF.
P.s. I get lots of questions every week about things like die storage, organisation supplies and some of the other non Stampin’ Up! products I use. To make it easier I have created a page where I have linked all these supplies and where you can find them. Click here to check it out.
This is where you will also find the Waffle Flower Grip Mat shared in the videos.
the finished puzzle fun fold card

Here is a look at the finished Puzzle Fun Fold Card. You can mix this up and change the sizes (length) you cut the panels or change the order that they are placed. I love that this fun fold is so versatile.
It has a quick and easy pattern that is easy to follow and would look great mixed and matched with so many of our specialty paper and Designer Series Paper. I created an easy template to follow on the PDF instructions that I have linked below.
For this card I actually showed how to use the Mercury Gold Speciality Paper (vellum) and an easy way for adhering it. You can check that out in the video linked on the PDF below.
a close up of the finished detail

On my Puzzle Fun Fold design I combined these foiled and beautiful patterns with a stunning focal point which is a combination of a die cut circle from the Spotlight on Nature Dies and a stamped and masked tree. The sky is your limit with the colours of trees that you can create with this bundle, heck you could even make a rainbow tree! For this tree in particular though, this is the colour combination I opted for…

In the video I have shared a few other colour combinations and techniques with making these trees. You can catch that here.
a look at the inside

When the puzzle fun fold card is opened it reveals this fun inner panel with some simple decoration added with some ink blending, gold Designer Series Paper and some leftover bird embellishments. I love the simplicity but the gorgeous decoration that it adds.
This puzzle fun fold card was so much fun to make and hope that you get some inspiration from it too. I have written a free tutorial for you to enjoy complete with metric and imperial measurements, an easy template and a link to the video replay. Check it out below.
