Last night was my weekly Facebook Live which was a little bit of a random day due to a busy weekend with the boys. I usually go live of a Saturday but it was fun to switch it up a little bit and catch some people live that usually aren’t able to join of a weekend. I had fun creating this split triangle fun fold card with the fun Lily Pond Lane Suite. This suite is just the cutest with all the ducks, frogs and cute lily pads and flowers. Don’t miss out on catching this suite, it’s adorable. You can find all the supplies at the bottom of this post which are available in my online store.

the finished triangle fun fold card

Here is a look at the finished triangle fun fold. I was inspired to make this card by the fabulous Jaimie B who shared something similar recently on her Instagram.
I really loved the idea of having the split card front and showing off that fabulous duck pond scene die. Combining that die with the Deckled Circles Dies allows you to turn it into the focal point of this interactive card.

You can see all the little extra die cuts that I have added to my card with very little stamping!
The Charming Duck Pond Dies come with the most adorable ‘builder dies’ that allow you to create adorable little ducks and coordinating pond pieces without any stamping. Of course you can use the stamps too – but it’s awesome to have that variety!
I coloured these pieces simply with a variety of different colours of Stampin’ Blends.
Cut all those pieces in Basic White and then go to town with your colouring.

the magic of the triangle fun fold

Here is a look at how this triangle fun fold card works.
Originally I had a Basic White Layer layered on some Pretty Pink cardstock and then I realised that the message on the inside would have to be limited to the bottom half of the card if you did not want it to be seen and interfere with the card front design.
So instead I decided to layer an addition card on the inside to allow space for a private message to be added underneath!
I do love to write an essay in my handmade cards!

Here you can see that inside card opened to reveal plenty of space for a message to the card recipient.
I added little bits of the Lily Pond Lane on the insides of the card because it is too beautiful not to.
