Hello lovely crafty friends!
Today I am sharing with a card that I made a little while ago, but still wanted to share here all the same. I always do struggle with the Holiday Catalogue in the respect that here in Australia it is summer time for us and we also do not really celebrate Thanksgiving, so when these themed stamps come out, I always love them – but do not always have a use for them.
BUT
when this gorgeous stamp set came out which coordinates so well with the All Around Wreath Dies, I was in love.
That gorgeous wreath and cute little birdie just caught my eye!
Naturally I just had to create a somewhat rustic themed card and this would be perfect for so many people in my life, as I am just thankful for so many – including all you lovely people!
Here’s a look at the finished card.
I have added lots of different textures in and just loved using Come to Gather Designer Series paper. That wood background is just gorgeous and definitely a must have!
I have stamped my wreath in the beautiful Copper and the coloured this with an Aqua Painter and different colours in the ink pads.
Here’s a close up of the finished card where you can see all the texture created from all the different elements that I have used.
I just adore that rustic coloured thread that comes from the combo pack of ribbons in the Come to Gather suite.
I have also added some Copper Foil, some Woven Threads Trim (I am in LOVE with this stuff!) and some gorgeous pearls to finish it off.
Here’s a look at the decorated insert for the card where I have added some more of the DSP to carry it over to the inside, and also some gorgeous Copper Washi Tape from the Tags & Accessories kit.
I hope you liked this look at a fun card made without being specifically ‘thanksgiving theme’.

The simplicity in each element allows you to create the unique and beautiful decor. We can use different shades to decorate this type of wreath
