Hello lovelies!
Welcome back to my blog where today I am sharing a card that I actually created towards the middle of year, but actually forgot to share with you here!
It’s actually quite a simple card that needs very minimal supplies, so great for those just starting out or those that want to make a mass amount of Christmas cards!
I have used the gorgeous Seasonal Wreath 3D textured impressions embossing folder and I really wanted that to be the star of the show on this card, and just stick with a very simple and elegant colour scheme, so Crumb Cake, Real Red and a pop of Basic Black it was for me!
I used some dies that I actually purchased with the previous year’s Holiday Catalogue (but they are still around a going strong as they are a great staple!) and I have paired this with some beautiful Real Red Glimmer Paper.
I have gone for the tone on tone look with my layers and applied Crumb Cake layer to more Crumb Cake and then to a Whisper White card base.
I actually really enjoy the tone on tone look.
Here’s a close up of the finished card where you can see all the texture and fun, whilst still simple and elegant!
I have embellished with some Toile Tidings Glitter Enamel Dots, some Real Red Curly Ribbon (isn’t that cute?) and some Linen Thread.
I heat embossed a simple ‘Christmas’ in white on black cardstock to really make it ‘pop’.
Here’s a little look at the stamped inside of my card which I also chose to keep very simple!
