online exclusive – hello irresistible collection
Shaker cards, where do I start? Who wouldn’t love getting one of these fun, interactive cards in the mail? Sparkly and gorgeous, I just can’t think of anything more exciting!
Plus this particular card that I am featuring today uses a gorgeous Online Exclusives collection that is just divine. I meant to share this card a wee while ago because I won’t lie, I do have a little stash of these cards to share. Oopsie! The Radiating Stitches Dies are also an online exclusive and work perfectly to create a shaker card as they create the perfect frame that you can pop up to create the ‘shaker element’.
Here is a little look at the Online Exclusives that I have featured on my project today…
what are online exclusives?
Online exclusives are released every three months by Stampin’ Up! and feature a range of products that will NOT be available in any printed publication but will be available online in my online store only. They will be released in limited quantities with no specific end date and once sold out, there is no guarantee they will be restocked. This will allow Stampin’ Up! to release new product more often and is a fantastic release strategy to create more new releases for on trend and on demand products.
The only way to stay up to date with the online exclusive and what is currently in stock is to check my online store and my suggestion is to purchase anything you like when you see it as there is no guarantee it will ‘stick around’.
hello – finished shaker card
Here is a look at the finished card. I just love the beautiful Radiating Stitches frame and the gorgeous embossed look that it cuts into the frame. It just looks beautiful when you use a Blending Brush over the top to really pick up on these accents. I have used Crumb Cake on a Blending Brush to really accent the frame and bring the eye inwards.
Simply add a sheet of Window Sheet to the reverse side to create the window for shaker card.

When I first received the Irresistible Blooms bundle and started to play with it this was my favourite way to colour it, using an emboss resist technique! It just looks so beautiful and it is so quick and easy!
Simply heat emboss all your images in white and then with a Blending Brush, apply colour right over the top! I was inspired by colours directly from the Designer Series Paper using; Flirty Flamingo, Daffodil Delight and Soft Sea Foam.
P.s. How adorable do the Flirty Flamingo and Daffodil Delight look blended together?
For the leaves I have softly blended some Daffodil Delight and Soft Sea Foam together!
A tiny Linen Thread bow and some of the adorable coordinating Loose Frosted Dots and that is all the extra embellishments that this card needed – after all the shaker card does all the work!
It is time to shake-shake-shake!

No nudey-rudey!
It’s a pretty card on the inside. I added some of that absolutely gorgeous Designer Series Paper and some more stamping from that adorable Irresistible Blooms stamp set. Here you can see what the stamps look like stamped in colour but with a little blending over the top!
I just love the soft neutral of the Crumb Cake with the bold but bright tones of the Flirty Flamingo and Daffodil Delight with this card but most of all I love the FUN element of the interactive shaker card feature!
