Hello and welcome back to my little blog.
Today I wanted to pop by and share with you a card I made CASE’d from a sample directly from the catalogue and made with the super fun and gorgeous Snowman bundle!
I just wanted to play with that super fun puff paint to get that fun snow like feature on the edges of my window card, added some glitter and some of the fun polystyrene little snow balls from the Let it Snow Embellishment kit and we have a fun shaker card!
I think it’s so much fun and with the added texture from the Real Red Curly Ribbon, it has so much fun texture that you just want to touch and feel!
Here’s a look at the finished card.
Here you can see that I have also embellished the cute little snowman with a fun felt hat and felt scarf. I love that the coordinated embellishment kit comes with all the pieces you need to literally build a snowman. Does anybody feel like breaking out into the Frozen Disney movie soundtrack? “Do you want to build a snowman?”- can you tell I have a 5 year old?
Here’s a close up look of the finished card.
I have heat embossed my sentiment with Basic Black embossing powder which gave it a fun raised and glossy finished and helped it really ‘pop’.
I also stamped some fun snowflakes on the back of the stitched circle in Coastal Cabana for some added texture and interest.
Here’s a look at the simple sentiment and layers that I added to the inside of the card and I called it done!
