Thanks for dropping by my blog today.
I am excited to come and share a fun Global Design Project challenge which this week is a CASE (Copy & Selectively Edit)’ing challenge by none other than the amazingly talented Susan Wong!
This woman amazes me with every single project she shares!
She has a knack for colour, simplicity, layout design – and well just everything!
Be sure to pop over to the blog to check out the challenge and participate yourself!

Here’s a look at this week’s challenge where you can see the card that we are all CASE (Copy & Selectively Edit)’ing.
Isn’t it gorgeous?

Here’s my card that I chose to create inspired by Susan.
I really wanted to go BRIGHT and well those that know me know that blue & green are my favourites!
I was really inspired by the whole layout that Susan used – but also the awesome geometric design. The Beautiful Shapes dies have sat in my stash for way too long and have not seen enough creativity – and I just love what Susan did with them!
I chose to cut these out in variety of blues, gold glimmer (did anyone see this sneak back in the new Mini Catalogue?) and some Gold Foil. I love the mixture of cardstock, foil & glimmer. So much texture!

Here’s a close up of my finished card.
I have added some more textures to the card including the Dots & Spots die which I have die cut out of white and then coloured by brushing the Parakeet Party ink pad straight on top.
This is actually how I created the whole background. I have swiped a mixture of Coastal Cabana, Pacific Point and Starry Sky ink pads straight onto the cardstock!
P.S. This is a great technique to use if you have particularly inky pads and need to ‘use’ up some of the ink!
I hope that you enjoyed my card today.
Be sure to go check out the challenge – it’s a great one!
You can see all the supplies I have used today listed below, all of which are available in my store.
Crafty hugs!
