Stampin’ Up! – Artistically Inked – Kylie’s International Blog Highlights

Hello there and welcome to my little blog today and thank you so much for popping by.
Today I am excited to be sharing a fun thank you card I made to participate in Kylie Bertucci’s lovely Monthly Blog Highlights.
I love partaking in this fun blog hop because I get to share fun projects amongst creators all around the globe.

Here’s a look at my finished card.
I had so much fun creating with a few products from the current Mini Catalogue that are retiring soon – the beautiful Abstract Beauty Designer Series Paper – the beautiful foiling on this paper in divine.

I really wanted to create with the big ‘vine’ image from the Artistically Inked Dies. I had a lot of fun die cutting this from Fluid 100 Watercolour Painter and adding some colour with a mixture of Melon Mambo and Polished Pink inks with Water Painters. I made this ‘extra special’ by adding some Liquid Glue and allowing it to dry before adding some Gilded Leafing.
I will admit the Gilded Leafing has been a clear favourite of mine lately – I have been adding it to everything!

Here is a close up look at the finished card where you can see some of the detail.
I used the White Frayed Ribbon and frayed the whole piece before adding a ‘mess’ of it (my totally random term for when I pull apart ribbon and wind it around my fingers in a mess) behind my focal point.
I added some of the Abstract Beauty Designer Series Paper as my background and some strips behind my focal point.

A fun bold sentiment heat embossed white on black and finished up with some Wink of Stella and gorgeous In Colour Jewels. So much fun!

I had to add a pretty inside, so added one of the other gorgeous die cuts from some white for a beautiful fresh look and added some more of that gorgeous Designer Series Paper.
