Stampin’ Up! Basket of Blooms – Card #2

Hey guys, thanks for visiting my blog again. It means the world.
Today I have featured live my second card from my new Facebook Live series.
This card is the second card featured using the Basket of Blooms and Walk in The Woods Stamp Sets.
I have also featured some fun tips for watercoloring, fussy cutting and also arranging things with the help of Press N’ Seal.

Here’s a look at the finished card.
This one featured a lot more green and I used one of the bolder patterns from the Forever Greenery Designer Series Paper. Did you know that this gorgeous Designer Series Paper is actually 15% off at the moment. You can take a look at all the papers included in the sale in my store here.

I have then combined this with some fun watercoloring the flowers from the Basket of Blooms stamp set which I have watercolored in a mixture of Magenta Madness and Coastal Cabana. With a touch of greenery from the foliage which I have coloured with the Granny Apple Green Stampin’ Blends – we were set to go.

Here’s a close up look at the finished card where you can see all the textures and detail.

I have incorporated one of our gorgeous Square Vellum doilies which I have shown how to cut down in a circular fashion – so much fun to change things up!

I have then embellished with some Wink of Stella (of course) and some of those pretty Playing with Patterns Resin Dots in Coastal Cabana – the colour of the gods – thanks for that phrase Dena Rekow!

Here’s a look at the decorated inside of the card with layers of Basic Black and Whisper White and touch of the Forever Greenery Designer Series Paper.
I have finished this off with a touch of Linen Thread and one of the additional left over watercolored flowers from the card front.
